Data Deletion Policy

At Pet Network, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information, what data gets deleted, what may be retained, and how long the process takes.
How to Delete Your Account & Data
You can request the deletion of your Pet Network account and personal data in two ways:
Option 1 — Delete via the App (Recommended)
Open the Pet Network app
Make sure you are signed in to the account you want to delete.
Go to your Profile
Tap your profile icon in the bottom navigation bar to open your profile page.
Open Settings
Tap the settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner of your profile page.
Select "Delete Account"
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page and tap "Delete Account." You will be asked to confirm your decision.
Confirm deletion
Confirm the deletion. Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2 — Request via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can submit a data deletion request by emailing us directly:

Please include your registered email address and the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What Data Gets Deleted
The table below summarizes what happens to your data when you request account deletion:

What Happens After Deletion
- Your account will be immediately deactivated upon confirmation. You will no longer be able to sign in.
- Your profile, posts, and username will no longer be visible to other users.
- Your PET coin balance will be permanently forfeited and cannot be recovered.
- Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot restore deleted accounts.
- If you signed in with Google, your Google account itself is not deleted — only your Pet Network data is removed.
Data Retained After Deletion
In some cases we may retain certain data after account deletion:
- Legal obligations: We may retain certain records if required by law, regulation, or to comply with a legal process.
- Fraud prevention: If an account was flagged for fraud or abuse, minimal records may be retained to prevent future violations.
- Anonymized data: Aggregated, anonymized data (with no personally identifiable information) may be retained for analytics and statistical purposes.
- Dispute resolution: Records relating to disputes or enforcement actions may be retained until the matter is resolved.
Timeline
- Account deactivation: Immediate upon confirmation.
- Personal data deletion: Within 30 days of the confirmed request.
- Backup purge: Within 90 days of the confirmed request.
